Home Repair Lab assists the Durham County Public Library by providing hands-on workshops and classes that empower patrons with essential home repair and maintenance skills.

About the Water Management Department
We strive to empower and enrich the Durham community through a wide and diverse range of library services, programming, and collections.
The City of Durham Water Management Department is dedicated to providing a reliable supply of safe drinking water to the residents and visitors of Durham, NC. With over 350 dedicated professionals, the department ensures that clean and pure water is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
We collaborate with Durham Water Management to provide public workshops focused on water conservation and common toilet repairs.

About Community Home Trust
Community Home Trust (CHT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing solutions in Chapel Hill and Carrboro, NC. Since its inception in 2000, CHT has been committed to creating and preserving permanently affordable homes for diverse populations, including teachers, healthcare workers, and other essential community members.
Partnering with Community Home Trust, we offered home maintenance classes tailored to new homeowners. These classes covered essential topics like tool skills, saw skills, and basic home repairs, helping participants become self-sufficient and confident in maintaining their homes.

The Chapel Hill Public Library is a vibrant community hub located at 100 Library Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. With a mission to provide access to information, ideas, and entertainment, the library offers a wide range of resources and services to meet the diverse needs of its patrons.
At the Chapel Hill Library, we hosted multiple DIY workshops, including electrical basics and drywall repair. These sessions provided valuable hands-on experience and empowered community members to take on home repairs with confidence.
